Do you want to learn German even more intensively and use it in everyday life? Do you want to experience life in Berlin from the inside and stay connected to Germany’s most exciting city even after your stay in Berlin? Our Berlin host families are hand-selected small families, couples, or singles—many with years of hosting experience—who are interested in intercultural exchange and are available to guide and support you as you navigate life in the big city of Berlin.

We’re also happy to accommodate your preferences or considerations when matching you with a host family. We strive to find the perfect host family for you.

Pricing Structure

Prices for our accommodations are tiered on a weekly basis and depend on the number of weeks you book. We offer discounts for long-term bookings. The more weeks you book, the lower the weekly rate!

Full payment in advance is required.

– Processing fee: €80; Security deposit: €200

– Double rooms are only available when booked and occupied by two people traveling together.

1: Arrival on the Sunday before the course begins; departure on the Saturday after the course ends. Arrival on Saturday or departure on Sunday is possible by prior arrangement for an additional fee (additional day).
2: Meal surcharge: Breakfast €60 per week; half-board (breakfast and dinner) €100 per week
3: Travel time only to the S/U Potsdamer Platz, S Anhalter Bahnhof, and U Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park stations via public transportation. The walk to the station is not included, but is usually only a 5–10-minute walk from the accommodation.
